After the New Year, the last months of schooling began for all secondary school students. About a hundred days before the matriculation exam, proms are organized, i.e. events that are a symbolic end to the high school period in the lives of young people. Most pre-graduation balls follow a commonly accepted scheme, but more and more schools decide to diversify the course of the event.
Prom from I LO in Olsztyn conquers the Internet!
An unusual idea came from students from the 1st Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Adam Mickiewicz. They decided to dance both the traditional polonaise and perform a dance that is not usually associated with this type of fun. This innovative idea appealed to many Internet users.
The high school graduates danced a waltz to the song “Hold My Hand” by Lady Gaga. They performed it in front of everyone present during their prom. The author of this beautiful choreography is Krzysztof Wasilewski, a master of ballroom dancing, who is also a graduate of Olsztyn I High School.
The entire event was recorded and made available online on YouTube. It instantly went viral and has already collected over 650,000 likes. views accrued in just four days. The waltz performed by the high school graduates was very much liked by Internet users who write a lot of compliments at them. We can read comments such as:
Well done to everyone. Great that you liked it
