The program appeared on TVP in 1995 and for over 12 years was one of the most popular formats broadcast by the station. Vocally talented children from all over Poland took part in the popular show. It was on this stage that stars such as Sylwia Grzeszczak and Katarzyna Sawczuk took their first steps. The cult program also promoted the host, i.e. Michał Juszczakiewicz. What is life like for a 65-year-old today?
The career of Michał Juszczakiewicz. Thanks to the talent show, it gained recognition
Michał Juszczakiewicz was a graduate of the Warsaw theater school, but he began his acting adventure in high school, receiving his first role in the TV series “Wakacje”. His first serious engagement was the main role in Piotr Andrejew’s film “Tender Places”. Another important production in his career was Janusz Zaorski’s Mother of Kings, where he starred alongside Jerzy Stuhr and Bogusław Linda. He has participated in films such as “Teddy Bear”, “Man of Iron” or “Bird of Paradise”.
In 1988, Juszczakiewicz graduated from the Lodz Film School, majoring in screenwriting and directing, and a year later his first film, The Studio, premiered. Soon after, he received an offer to take up the position of the host of “From Kindergarten to Opole”, but he set a certain condition to the producers. “We agreed that the host should be an actor. The search began and then it turned out that the most knowledgeable person on the subject was me. I wanted to direct, so I agreed to the lead, on condition that I direct, in an interview with “Live”.
The last episode of the program for musically gifted preschoolers was broadcast on May 26, 2007.
Juszczakiewicz disappeared from the media. The actor returned to his former passions
When “From Kindergarten to Opole” disappeared from the air, Juszczakiewicz returned to his former passions. He decided to combine his passion for film with astronomy. This is how the film “The Mystery of Copernicus’ Graves” was created, which was awarded at the film festival in China. In August 2011, Juszczakiewicz started working on another production. The actor not only directed “The Secrets of Copernicus Economics”, but was also responsible for the stage design and collaborated with screenwriters.
This year, Michał Juszczakiewicz will celebrate his 65th birthday. The actor often acts as a compere during cultural events in the Tri-City, and on a daily basis he focuses on running an artistic agency.
