Fit versions of the popular ones are nothing new. For this reason, no one should be surprised by a healthier version of traditional cheese donuts, which we so often eat on Fat Thursday. If you don’t want to overeat on deep fried snacks, be sure to try this one.
What ingredients do you need to prepare fit tires? They are not that different from the original
To prepare fit cheese donuts you will need:
- 250 g of lean white cheese
- 3 full cups of wheat flour (type 450 or 500)
- 2 tablespoons of cream 18 percent
- 3 full spoons of sugar
- 1 whole egg and 2 yolks
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- package of vanilla sugar
- 1 teaspoon of soda
As you can see, the composition is not significantly different from the traditional one. The difference lies in the proportions. In a healthier recipe, we will find less sugar and cream. The original also uses a fatter cheese.
Cheesecakes from the oven. The method of preparation is trivially simple
First, sift the flour into a large bowl. Then add sugar, baking soda, baking powder and vanilla sugar to it. Thoroughly mix all the dry ingredients, then add cottage cheese, cream, egg and yolks to the dish. Combine the ingredients again, this time until you get a uniform consistency. Form a ball from the resulting dough and put it on a dry countertop or pastry board. Knead the mass with vigorous movements, and then roll it out.
Use a glass to cut circles out of the dough. In the middle of the cutouts, add another hole using a shot glass. Line the baking tray with paper so that it covers the entire bottom. Lay out the donuts one at a time, keeping small gaps between each baking. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Bake the donuts at this temperature for 10 minutes. Finally, take out the treats and let them cool on the wire rack. Decorate them in any way, e.g. with powdered sugar.
