It’s actually a collection of books on a variety of topics. And although not everyone has to be a fan of this type of literature, you will certainly be able to find interesting and engaging items even for people who avoid this type of books. As you know, literature often becomes an inspiration for the creators of films and series. It’s a well-known saying, and it’s mostly true, that the book is always better than the movie adaptation. However, it happens that this is not true, or that they are just as good. Anyway, some epic film adaptations, such as “The Hobbit”, “Warcraft: Origins”, “Avatar” show that this can be the case. Of course, they will never be like books, but they can still be worth seeing. Fantasy is also comics, series and games. Every lover of magical lands and unusual worlds will find something for themselves.
What is the best fantasy book? There is no clear answer
Fantasy books can take place in very different worlds and deal with a wide variety of topics. That’s why it’s hard to pinpoint the best fantasy book. Again, the individual taste of the reader is important here. Nevertheless, there is a certain canon that every fantasy fan should know. Recommended items include, for example:

- low fantasy – a world close to real, where magic is an incidental phenomenon,
- high fantasy or epic fantasy – completely different here, because the action takes place in a different, fantastic world
- urban fantasy – where the action takes place in cities, and technology, science and magic are combined here
- space fantasy is science fiction that focuses on interstellar travel, space battles, and interplanetary adventures.
