those born after December 31, 1948 and before January 1, 1969 may apply for early retirement from the Social Insurance Institution. However, the right age is not the only condition thanks to which they will receive the benefit. A number of other requirements must be met in order to be paid, such as performing work in special conditions or of a special nature. • have reached the appropriate retirement age – which varies depending on gender and type of work performed;
• have completed 20 years (in the case of women) or 25 years (in the case of men) of contributory and non-contributory periods, which can be proved by appropriate documentation;
• have achieved the required seniority in special conditions or in a special nature – different depending on the type of work performed;
• are not OFE members or have submitted an application to transfer funds from their OFE account to the state budget.

Pay attention to this detail. Because of him, ZUS may reject the application

not the end, because it is also important to have an appropriate entry on the work certificate confirming that the scope of the position occupied qualifies for receiving . Without meeting this condition, ZUS may reject the application. This applies to seniors who:

• performed the type of work strictly in accordance with the list, department and items listed in the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of February 7, 1983;
• occupied a job position listed in the relevant list, section, position and point of the ministerial order or resolution;
• they are able to prove the period during which the work in particular conditions was performed continuously and on a full-time basis for a given position.
