Born in Guayaquil, Mite has more than 30 years of experience in television. Its beginnings were in the informative telefourin 1988, followed by the newscast of Teleamazon and entertainment productions and journalism in ecuavisa.
Together with the Ecuadorians Iván Mestre, Mauricio Campoverde and José Carlos Alvarado won the 2019 Roche Health Journalism Awardtelevision and video category, for the report silent enemywhich tells the stories of two women with cervical cancer.
