American singer and actress Lisa Marie Presley, only daughter of rock legend Elvis and Priscilla Presley, was admitted to a hospital as an emergency after suffering a cardiac arrest, media reported in her country on Thursday.
A team of paramedics rescued her at her home in Calabasas, Los Angeles County, California, and gave her CPR after her first husband and father of her oldest children, Danny Keough, tried to help her; they managed to return the pulse before rushing her to the hospital. Her mother, actress Priscilla Presley, is also with her.
Lisa Marie was during this week in various tributes to the life of her father, Elvis, who was born on January 8, 1935. Also was present at the Golden Globes awards ceremony last Tuesday, in Beverly Hills. She and her father watched Austin Butler win a Globe for his representation of the King of Rock’n’Roll in the movie Elvis.
The 54-year-old artist has three children, and was the administrator of Elvis Presley Enterprises until 2005. She though she sold that property, is still the owner of Graceland, the famous ranch that Elvis purchased in Memphis.
Lisa Marie’s son, Benjamin Keough, was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, in 2020.
Lisa Marie has been married four times, to Danny Keough, the King of Pop michael jackson actor nicolas cage and with Michael Lockwood, whom she divorced in 2016, after a legal dispute in which she filed for bankruptcy.
From his first marriage he was a practitioner of scientologyand officially defected from it only in 2016.
Elvis Presley died at the age of 42 of a heart attackas was Lisa Marie’s grandmother, Gladys Love Presley, who passed away at 46. (YO)
