‘The Platypus’ at Estudio Paulsen
It is a comedy written by the Mexican Humberto Robles, winner of the San Gines award in 2019. The work confronts the viewer and puts the monogamy, fidelity and bisexuality. The platypus is an animal that caused a stir and controversy in the 19th century because naturalists did not know how to classify it. This work shows us, through a parallel with the animal, how indecipherable human relationships can be. Tells the story of three friends, who have been in a relationship for years, and are considering the possibility of experimenting with their sexuality, which makes their most impulsive and even animal sides awaken.
The functions will be carried out at the Paulsen Studio, from November 11 to 20, Thursday to Saturday. The play is performed by Raúl Sánchez Mc Millan, teacher of the Meisner technique; Lissette Rezabala and Alfredo Solomon; led by Adrian Cardenas, graduates of the Paulsen Study.
