American actor George Clooney has asked the press not to publish images of his children to avoid putting them in danger.

The 60-year-old star mentioned in her letter to “Daily Mail and other publications ”, and said that he decided to write the letter when he saw that photos of the actress’s one-year-old son were circulating Billie Lourd. Lourd, 29, is the daughter of the late actress Carrie Fisher.
“I am a public figure and I accept the sometimes invasive photos as part of the price I have to pay to do my job”says the letter. “Our children do not have that commitment ”.
“We never sold a photo of our children, we are not on social media and we never post photos because that could put their lives in danger. It is not about paranoia, but about real issues, with real consequences “Clooney wrote.
“We hope everyone agrees that the need to sell advertising is no greater than the need to keep innocent children from being targeted.”
The couple have twins, born in 2017.
Clooney has already faced the Daily Mail, the British tabloid that has successfully exported its celebrity-focused tabloid journalism to the United States thanks to a popular web version.
The actor of Gravity accuses the newspaper of having fabricated a note in which they claimed that his future mother-in-law opposed his marriage in 2014.
The newspaper apologized, but Clooney thanked the apology without accepting it.
