The New Horizons Association invited Daria Zawiałow to work on the Polish language version of Belle. The artist has released the album “Wars and Nights” released last year, which draws heavily from Japanese pop culture. As Daria admits, when she heard about the possibility of lending her voice to the main character of the film, she did not hesitate for a second and immediately accepted the offer. He treats the project “Belle” as a perfect clamp closing the author’s album.

An important part of “Belle” is the music – the title character is a virtual megastar whose voice delights billions of Internet users. Therefore, Daria faced not only an acting challenge, but also facing the original songs from the film and writing Polish lyrics for them. The songs originally performed by Kaho Nakamura are extremely vocally demanding songs, which Daria herself considers to be the most difficult she has dealt with in her career. Two of them – “Be the wind” and “Give me your voice” are already available on all streaming services.
It’s a very reflective film. The producer, Jacek Kasperek, with whom I worked on the dubbing, at one point, in the middle of the dubbing session, told me ”Oh, there was a connection with the character” – then I knew that I was doing well. And in fact, I really liked my characters. It will be hard for me to part with them – said Zawiałow.
