It was supposed to be Olbrychski, but there is only Fidusiewicz. Producers comment on the “cut” of the actor from the series “Jack Ryan”

The third season of the sensational series entitled. Jack Ryan. The production receives positive reviews, and Polish viewers are in for a surprise. One of the supporting roles was played by the Polish actor Adam Fidusiewicz, who is best known for his role as Maks Brzozowski in the soap opera “Na Wspólnej”.

The participation of another Polish actor was announced in the production. It’s about the legendary Daniel Olbrychski, who can finally be found in vain in the series. However, another actor from Poland managed to perform. Cezary Łukaszewicz starred in two small episodes, but it is Fidusiewicz who can be seen the most in the series.

The young actor gave an interview in which he talks about working on the set of “Jack Ryan”. Fidusiewicz admits that he felt very good there, and brought only good professional memories from Budapest. In an interview, he admitted that the post-production stage was very stressful for him. He was afraid that in the final version of the series, scenes with his participation may be removed:

I waited a year for the premiere and, I must admit, I was very concerned that the scenes with my participation would not be “cut”. It is known that with such large productions this often happens. Fortunately, they didn’t cut me out. One scene was moved to the next episode, but all “my” shots ended up in the final version of the series. I am very happy about it because my mother is proud.

However, Daniel Olbrychski did not play in the series, and information about his participation appeared in the media when the series was still in production. The artist’s wife, Krystyna Demska-Olbrychska, who deals with his promotional matters, then wrote on social media that they had been “in Budapest for several days, where Paramount had placed the production of the “Jack Ryan” series.

She praised that it was “an interesting role, working with fantastic colleagues” and strongly lifted the veil of production secrets: “Daniel plays in six [odcinkach – przyp. red.]. In the first two it appears symbolically. In the next four, he already plays the main role,” we could read in Demska-Olbrychska’s posts.

Now the woman is definitely dissociating herself from the words she previously wrote on social media. Fidusiewicz did not know anything about meeting Olbrychski on the set of “Jack Ryan”. He admitted that he learned about it from the Polish media, but did not see him in Budapest. “I do not know the details of production decisions. I regret it because he is a legend I would like to play with someday” – he comments in an interview with Wirtualna Polska.

The portal managed to reach the American producers of the series. But the answer that came from their side throws nothing new on the matter:

We can’t comment on the matter at this stage because we’ve never officially announced that this actor will star in the series. And we will not take a stand on people who are not part of our project

Olbrychski’s relationship with this production still remains a mystery. It is not known at what stage of production it was decided to thank the actor in the series. Or maybe he wasn’t on the set in Budapest at all? Nobody knows that. The actor has not officially commented on this so far.
