Anita Belén’s Recipes: Brownie Dough

“People started ordering me, so I quit the coffee shop where I worked as head of marketing in 2014 and went into selling candy. In 2016 I started knocking on doors because I wanted to go on television teaching cooking, since I realized that many people were miscopying the recipes that I uploaded”, confesses the 32-year-old blogger.

Eggnog Recipe

  • 4 cups of milk – 1 liter
  • 1 cup of sugar – 200 gr
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence – 10 ml
  • 1 piece of orange peel
  • 6 egg yolks – 180 gr
  • 1 cups of heavy cream – 250 ml
  • 1/2 can of condensed milk – 200 ml
  • 2 cups of brandy

Instructions

  1. Place the milk, sugar, orange zest, and vanilla essence in a saucepan and then reduce the heat to low for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally so it doesn’t overflow.
  2. Blend the egg yolks with the condensed milk. Add the heavy cream and place in a large bowl.
  3. Add half of the hot milk into the egg mixture, stirring with a hand whisk until smooth. Spoon the entire mixture over the hot milk mixture and stir well.
  4. Cook over low heat, mixing constantly until the eggnog waits. It is important not to let it stir to avoid burning, cutting or forming lumps.
  5. When you have the desired texture, remove from heat and let cool. When the mixture is at room temperature, add the hot water. Refrigerate four hours before serving. (AND)
