It is worth taking care of the condition of your lips in advance and using a moisturizing protective lipstick every day, and exfoliating your lips once a week. If you decide on lipstick in an intense color, let’s give up strong eye makeup – beige shadow, eyeliner and mascara will be enough. - after applying the foundation (also on the lips), outline the shape of the lips with a lip liner (in the shade of lipstick or a shade lighter than it),
- then gently apply the first layer of lipstick with a brush, apply a tissue from the lips and collect the excess of lipstick,
- the next step is to reapply the color, squeezing the excess with a tissue,
- after repeating these steps three times, lightly powder your lips with a transparent powder.
Make-up made in this way should stay on the lips for at least 8 hours. Matte lipsticks can be problematic to wash off with ordinary soap and water. It is best to remove it with makeup remover, moist makeup remover wipes, ointment with vitamin A, greasy cream or oil, e.g. coconut.
Matte lipsticks in pink shades – a real hit!
Matte lipsticks in pink shades suit both blondes and brunettes. Most makeup brands have them in their product catalogs and you can easily buy them both in popular drugstores and online stores at a very affordable price. If you don’t have a matte lipstick on hand, you can easily matt a satin or glossy lipstick in a selected shade with a transparent powder. A matte lipstick in a shade of pink can be obtained by mixing vaseline with blush in stone.
