Mushrooms come out watery when frying? You make one mistake. This method will provide a crunchy effect

Mushrooms are available all year round. These mushrooms are often used in the kitchen. They are suitable for many dishes as the main ingredient or addition. We suggest how to prepare them so that they are not watery, but beautifully browned and crispy.

Good mushrooms? Check the product in the store

If you want mushrooms to come out tasty, remember to buy a good product in the store. Let’s not buy dark and wilted mushrooms. Let’s choose white and healthy-looking without damage. Good-looking specimens will be the first step to the perfect dish. Pay attention to how the mushrooms are stored and whether they are wet.

Before preparing the dish, mushrooms should be thoroughly washed and dried. This is very important because the mushrooms themselves contain a large amount of water. If you want to peel them, use a small knife. Peel the mushrooms carefully so as not to damage the caps.

A recipe for perfectly fried mushrooms. Time is key

For the perfect preparation of mushrooms, we need good quality butter. This is a great way to get crispy and browned mushrooms. After washing and cutting the mushrooms, pour a small portion of olive oil and three tablespoons of butter into the pan. Add the chopped onion to the hot oil and fry over medium heat until the onion becomes coloured.

Then we add mushrooms. Fry them slowly to evaporate. Add pepper and thyme to lightly fried mushrooms. We don’t add salt! This is a mistake we often make. If you add too early, the mushrooms will come out watery. Remember to add salt at the end of frying.
