Euskaraz irakurri: “Suro”, hamar Gaudi saritarako izendatuta
“sure”, the first feature film by San Sebastian director Mikel Gurrea, has been nominated for ten Gaudí Catalan film awards, which have announced their nominations today. The prizes will be awarded on January 22 in Barcelona, at the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya.
Gurrea’s film is up for awards in the category of Best Film, Best New Director (Gurrea), Best Original Screenplay (Mikel Gurrea and Francisco Kosterlitz), Best Female Lead (Vicky Luengo), Best Male Lead (Pol López), Best production direction (Mayca Sanz), best artistic direction (Isona Rigau), best editing (Ariadna Ribas), best original music (Clara Aguilar) and best sound (Leo Dolgan and Xanti Salvador).
In this last category, Aitor Berenguer is also nominated for his work in “Los renglones torcidos de Dios”; “Cinco lobitos”, which like “Suro” has the participation of EITB, is competing for the award for best European film.
The films ‘Alcarràs’, by Carla Simón, and ‘One year, one night’, by Isaki Lacuesta, with 14 nominations each, start as favourites.
