As an introduction, let us recall that the series focuses on the eldest daughter of Morticia and Gomez Addams, . After a teenager throws piranhas into the school swimming pool to get revenge on her brother’s bullies, her parents are forced to transfer her to another school.
The choice falls on the Nevermore Academy, which they both graduated from years ago. Wednesday isn’t thrilled about it because she doesn’t want to live in the shadow of her mother’s achievements, but when she arrives at the school for outcasts, it turns out that strange things are happening there. There are a series of mysterious murders that the local police cannot solve. Resolute Wednesday wants to get to the heart of the matter. By the way, she discovers a family secret from years ago and a case in which her parents are involved.

Wednesday discovers who is behind the mysterious bombings. Together with the headmistress of the school Larrisa Weems (played by Gwendoline Christi, known from “Game of Thrones”), she confronts the perpetrator. An unfortunate coincidence leads to the death of a teacher who had a special power: she could change into any person. This death was very sad for the viewers, because Larrisa Weems was one of the most interesting characters on the show. However, there is some hope that he may come back.
Evidence of this can be seen in the scenes with Lurch Addams. The gruff butler is played by Romanian actor George Burcea. He appears in the first episode when he brings Wednesday to school, and we later meet him when the family comes to visit. Naturally, Gwendoline Christie has already been asked in interviews if there is a chance that her heroine will return in the second series of “Wednesday”. The actress could not answer directly, but her statement gives some hope for the future. In an interview with TV Gudie stated:
