She is him and he is her… Watch the trailer for “In Your Place”

They wanted change, not swap!

Kaśka and Krzysiek – a young, attractive married couple with a charming son and an apartment in a picturesque area. It seems that they should be happy, and yet they are on the verge of divorce. They spend every day the same – arguing. Until the morning when they must work together like never before. And all because of a body swap.

From now on, Krzysiek is Kaśka, and Kaśka is Krzysiek. Each of them has to take over the other’s responsibilities and face problems they didn’t know existed before. Will it make them look at each other differently and learn empathy? Swapping bodies is just a keyhole used by the filmmakers to be able to say a few original words about the present day. Paulina Galazka says:

I really enjoyed this acting challenge. After the extremely feminine roles I’ve played before, for example in the movie “Girls from Dubai”, to play a guy? Fantastic adventure! Besides, after the test shots, I knew that the project would have great energy and creators. The amount of attention and preparation of the director just won me over. We had chemistry with Miron already at that stage, and the production took care of a professional and creative atmosphere.

The director of “In Your Place” is Antonio Galdámez, for whom it is a full-length feature debut. This is what he says about the film:

We told the relationship of the characters in a witty and cheerful way, but it was important for me to also include shadows, things that are difficult to work through and give food for thought. Working on different tones, constantly balancing the proportions between laughter and tears – it was an extremely interesting and inspiring process.
