Colors of Happiness is a Polish drama series focusing on the lives, problems, joys and sorrows of the inhabitants of Zaciszna Street and the recently built “Pod Sosnami” Housing Estate, as well as Zakrzewie, where some of the characters come from. Domestic violence, betrayal, drug addiction, loneliness, serious illness, unhappy love – these are just some of the many problems raised in the series.
TVP can shock its faithful viewers
One of the main characters is Agata, played by Natalia Zambrzycka. The girl met Patryk for a long time, played by Konrad Skolimowski. Their relationship was very turbulent, but in the end their relationship stabilized.
And this is where the breakthrough may come. In the 2699th episode of the soap opera, Agata organized an employee party to celebrate her success. There, her secretary Dagmara, played by Paulina Kowalska, will compliment her. The girls will be very good at talking and, under the influence of alcohol, at some point they will start kissing.
So far, it is not known whether it will be just a one-time jump or whether colleagues from work will continue to have each other. Although it would be hard to believe that it would be developed. Some time ago, the thread of a pair of two men in “Colours” was suspended. One of the heroes was sent to Singapore, and his partner suddenly fell in love … with a woman.
Interestingly, the series was created by Ilona Łepkowska, who headed the team of writers of the series for several years. The woman has never hidden that she is an ally of the LGBT community and was even awarded by the Campaign Against Homophobia for her activities.
“We were very afraid of this thread, but it was well received,” Łepkowska said at the beginning of this year in an interview with “Gazeta Wyborcza”. She also added: “I reach for the homosexual thread not to – God forbid – shock anyone. I just start from the otherwise simple assumption that breaking taboos teaches tolerance. This is my ambition to familiarize viewers with this subject.”
In recent years, TVP has only spoken about the LGBT+ community in a very negative way. The materials of “Wiadomości” regularly featured lies and manipulations that were supposed to show the recipients that Poland was threatened by “LGBT ideology”. The icing on the cake was the report “Invasion”, which directly suggested that the aim of the LGBT+ movement is to legalize pedophilia and openly harassed sexual minorities.
