Depeche Mode will perform at the Primavera Sound 2023 festivals in Barcelona and Madrid on June 2 and 9 respectively, on what will be the only two dates in Spain on their ‘Memento Mori’ tour.
This is the first tour of the british band since death last May by Andrew Fletcherfounding member of the group.
As reported by the festival on Tuesday, the two Spanish venues for Spring Sound 2023 they will have Depeche Mode as one of the headliners. The current members of the band, Dave Gahan and Martin L. Gore, will perform songs from their new album, ‘Memento Mori’, and some of the classics that have made them a fundamental piece of music over the last forty years.
Depeche Mode is the first name that has been announced for the Primavera Sound 2023 line-up, which will be the same at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona between June 1 and 3 and at the Ciudad del Rock in Arganda del Rey (Madrid) from June 8 to June 10.

Primavera Sound has confirmed that both in Barcelona and Madrid the poster will be the same. In addition, they have announced that there will be a shuttle bus with a round trip service that will connect Madrid with Arganda del Rey, a journey that will be included in the subscription and ticket for the day.
