These Polish women are known all over the world! They make a huge career and inspire admiration everywhere

Among Polish stars, many faces are already recognizable abroad. For years, we have been working for respect and admiration thanks to countless talents in many areas. An excellent example is, for example, the 2018 Nobel Prize winner in literature, Olka Tokarczuk. The recognized model Anja Rubik is a fashion icon both in Poland and in the world. Just like Joanna Pacuła, Kasia Smutniak or Karolina Wydra. Weronika Rosati is popular in the field of acting, and the currently outstanding Joanna Kulig is following in her footsteps. There are, of course, more names. Today we present those famous overseas, but perhaps less recognized by Poles and Polish women. Here are three of them.

Magdalena Wosinska. Polish woman who found the cover of the New York Times

Polish photographer Magdalena Wosinska has conquered Los Angeles. She photographed such stars as Ben Affleck and Helen Mirren. The art he creates has appeared many times on the covers of the New York Times, Rolling Stone and Vanity Fair. Recently, however, the greatest star and muse for the artist is her mother. She has started publishing a series of photos in which she poses in a harmonious act with her mother. Moving photos can be admired, among others on her instagram account “The Magdalena experience”. There are also artistic photos from various expeditions. Her photos primarily deal with the subject of the body.

Magdalena Górka is probably the first Polish woman who gained great recognition overseas as a cinematographer. She lives permanently with her husband in the USA and there she pursues her passions, which her father instilled in her. The man was a famous photographer. The cinematographer has worked on world productions such as “Joaquin Phoenix. I Am What I Am” by Casey Affleck, and then, for example, “Paranormal Activity 3” directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman. Anna B. Sheppard nominated for an Oscar! What he does?

Anna B. Sheppard lives and works in London. She is an excellent costume designer who created outstanding costumes for films. Her creations can be seen, among others in the series “Band of Brothers”, the film “The Pianist”, “Schindler’s List”, “Shanghai Knights” and “In 80 Days Around the World”. She was nominated for an Oscar three times. The first film in which she dealt with costumes on her own was “Behind the Wall” by Zanussi.
