The version of ‘Despecha’ by Rosalía that never saw the light

‘despecha’of Rosalia, is already playing everywhere: parties, festivals, social networks… with one month to go until the end of summer, we can say that it already holds the title of the song of the season. Not only that, it was the biggest streaming debut of a solo Spanish song by a female artist in the history of Spotify.

But this song is not original version about the topic. The singer Omega has revealed in his account Instagram that he recorded a duet with Rosalía and just two days after going on the market it was discarded. A decision that has nothing to do with the Catalan: “These are things that they do not come from the artistSo you won’t blame her.”

“Sometimes they only see things as a business, but in any case, I understand that this song is a stick with and without me,” says the artist, acknowledging that the song is a success. In addition, he assures that what has bothered him the most has been the lack of explanations and the “little respect” with which he considers that he has been treated.
