The Labor Commission of the Congress of the Republic approved an opinion that seeks that public sector workers belonging to the 276 regime and by Administrative Services Contract (CAS) receive bonuses for July and December.
The opinion approved unanimously “is intended to extend to public servants and officials of the regimes of Decree Law 276 and Legislative Decree 1057 (CAS) the bonuses for National Holidays and Christmas, homologating this right that is perceived in the Servir regime. and high-ranking state officials.
The legislative initiative indicates that the bonuses cannot be greater than a monthly remuneration. The proposal will also be evaluated by the Budget Commission, and after that it must be approved in the plenary session of Congress.
If the measure advances, the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) will be the entity that adopts the measures and forecasts to guarantee budgetary availability for the progressive application of the measure, within a period not exceeding five years.
