The Executive Branch approved the transfer of 423 million 356 thousand soles for 534 reconstruction works in the Education, Health, Transport and Housing sectors in 11 regions that were affected by the Coastal El Niño phenomenon.
The transfer of the budget was managed by the Authority for Reconstruction with Changes for regions such as Arequipa, Áncash, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Huancavelica, La Libertad, Lambayeque, Tumbes, Piura, Lima Provinces and the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima.
Of all of them, Arequipa is the region that will have the most budget for this concept. Thus, they will transfer more than 14 million soles for the reconstruction of the local road Ocoña – Piuca, that runs through the districts of Ocoña and Mariano Nicolas Valcárcel, in the province of Camaná. In this case, the provincial commune will be in charge of the work.
As reported by the Authority for Reconstruction with Changes, the money will be transferred in favor of the Ministries of Agrarian Development and Irrigation, Education, Health and Housing, as well as the Regional Governments (GORE) of Ancash, Arequipa, Ayacucho, La Libertad, Lambayeque, Piura, Tumbes and the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima.
