Minem proposes that Petroperú enter Block 192 without a partner

The Lot 192, the most important oil field in Peru, is paralyzed and, apparently, without evidence that it would be put into operation. This despite the existence of an express law (law 30357) that grants the lot to Petroperú.

At Petroperú’s General Shareholders’ Meeting, the Board raised the need to go with a partner in the operation of the lot located in Andoas (Loreto), which was refuted by the representatives of the Ministry of Energy and Mines (Minem).
