The contest for the selection of applicants in charge of the president of the Board of Directors of the Supervisory Body for Investment in Transportation Infrastructure for Public Use (Ositran) was declared void, as reported this afternoon by the Selection Commission of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers ( PCM).
The contest was in its final stage, in which four applicants were selected for the personal interview. These were Guillermo Alfredo Bouroncle Calixto, Ana Beatriz Oliva Chacón, Aleida Rebeca Sarmiento Villena and Felix Augusto Vasi Zevallos.
It should be noted that the current president of the board of directors of Ositran, Verónica Zambrano, did not pass the written evaluation stage. A similar case arose in the selection process for the presidency of Osinergmin, where the current president Jaime Mendoza did not pass that stage either.
This last case was alerted by the Osinergmin workers’ union, and the Ombudsman’s Office spoke out asking for transparency in the contest. “This situation could be an indication of deficiencies in the evaluation, given that the application requirements are similar to those required in previous contests,” he said.
