Peruvian exports will grow between 1.4% and 4.2% in the next 5 years, according to LatinFocus

Peruvian exports have an upward projection for the next five years, according to the panelists of the FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast LatinFocus.

Thus, in their last report of March 2022, they foresaw that Peruvian sales to the world will register an expansion of 1.4% in 2022; 3.3% in 2023; 3.5% in 2024; 3.8% in 2025 and 4.2% in 2026.

The figures show an improvement with respect to the projections of last February for Peruvian shipments, which were located at: 0.6% in 2022; 2.5% in 2023; 1% in 2024; -0.7% in 2025 and -2.4% in 2026.

In this way, it is expected that Latin America, Peruvian exports advance by 1.4% in 2022, ranking eighth, after Uruguay, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Chile and Brazil, whose sales abroad will register advances of 9.2%; 8.1%; 7%; 5.4%; 4.2%; 2.2% and 2.1%, respectively, predicted the panelists.

It will be followed by shipments abroad from Argentina (-0.9%) and Bolivia (-7.4%).

However, the FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast LatinFocus warned that despite the progress of Peruvian shipments to the world, they will be below the Latin American average in 2022 (4%).

Position 2023

Next year, Peruvian shipments will occupy the fifth position in Latin Americaalong with Chile, with advances of 3.3% each, after Paraguay (6.1%), Uruguay (5.1%), Mexico (4.2%) and Bolivia (3.6%), forecast.

It will be followed by shipments abroad from Colombia (2.8%), Brazil (2.6%), Argentina (2.4%), and Ecuador (0.3%).

Site 2024 and 2025

On Latin America, Peruvian foreign sales will grow 3.5% in 2024, ranking sixth, after Colombia, Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Chile, whose exports will show advances of 8.5%; 4.7%; 4.6%; 4.1%; 4.1% and 3.6%, respectively, the analysts estimated.

It will be followed by shipments abroad from Ecuador (2.3%), Paraguay (1.7%) and Bolivia (1.4%).

By 2025, Peruvian shipments abroad will advance 3.8%, to occupy sixth place again, after Colombia, Uruguay, Brazil, Ecuador and Paraguay, whose exports will have advances of 6.5%; 6.1%; 5%; 4.4% and 4.2%, respectively, predicted.

It will be followed by exports from Mexico (3.6%), Bolivia (3.5%), Argentina (3.3%) and Chile (3.1%).

Location 2026

The 2026, heace peruvian exports will occupy the seventh position in the region with an advance of 4.2%after Uruguay (7.4%), Paraguay (6.8%), Ecuador (6.4%), Brazil (5.9%), Bolivia (5.5%) and Colombia (4.6%) , they projected.

It will be followed by shipments abroad from Mexico (3.8%), Chile (2.7%) and Argentina (2%).
