In a sit-in organized by LAB in front of the Foral Palace, in Bilbao, a representation of the workers has recalled that in recent days the union has requested a meeting with the regional deputy for Social Action, Sergio Murillo, who is asked to appear at the General Assemblies of Bizkaia to establish its position in this conflict. ELA, for its part, has held a sit-in at the Puente de Deusto. The workers have cut off traffic in two lanes with a banner with the slogan No to the care business.

The worker Ainhoa ​​Perez He has denounced that his working conditions “are much worse” since the arrival of the pandemic and the companies that manage these services refuse to negotiate “and right now there is no relationship with the employer.”

In his opinion, “the Diputación is a very important part” in solving the problem, “but turn a deaf ear“.
