The Lima Stock Exchange (BVL) closed the day on Wednesday, March 16 with gains in its main indices, with 14 indicators in green and 2 in red.
The S&P/BVL Peru General index, the most representative of the Lima stock market, rose 1.16% to 24,581.75 points. Meanwhile he S&P/BVL Peru Selective Indexwhich is made up of the most traded shares in the local market, gained 0.90% and stood at 640.2 units.
The result of the Lima stock market was driven mainly by the Ingenius technology index, which closed with gains of 3.59%.
Meanwhile, the financial and consumer sectors also posted significant increases, closing at +2.76% and +1.35%. Followed by Mining (+0.82%), Services (+0.27%) and Electricity (+0.27%).
In contrast, the Construction and Industrial sectors recorded losses of -0.26% and -0.06%, respectively.
