Four months after the implementation of Law 31301, the Pension Normalization Office (ONP) delivers 7,645 proportional pensions to date.
As detailed by Walter Borja, head of the entity, some 4,498 older adults receive S / 250, for which they would have contributed between 10 to 14 years. While 2,804 affiliates who contributed between 15 and 19 years old receive S / 350. And a group of 343 beneficiaries are advanced pensions.
Likewise, he explained that male retirees predominate, representing 62.7% of the total, and 37.3% are women. And the great majority is between 65 and 75 years of age.
Borja projected that by the end of this year they expect to reach 21,401 proportional pensioners with an annual cost calculated at S/ 75 million. While by December 2023 they expect to benefit 38,380 retirees under this mechanism.
On the other hand, the official pointed out that there are still 189,000 affiliates who contributed less than 10 years to the ONP, with which they do not receive a pension.
