Brent oil falls 5% to $100

The Texas is placed at 97 dollars, after also losing 5%. The price of electricity also fell slightly and reached 249.66 euros per megawatt/hour.

The price of a barrel Brent quality oilreference for the Old Continent, stands at 100 dollars, after falling 5%, while Texas stands at 97 dollars, after also losing 5%.

This Monday, the price of a barrel of Brent for delivery in May ended in the London futures market at $105.14, 6.61% less than at the end of the previous session.

Thus, crude oil from the North Sea, a reference in Europe, concluded the day on the International Exchange Futures with a decrease of 7.44 dollars compared to the last trade, when it closed at 112.58 dollars.

On the other hand, the cost of electricity has experienced a slight fall of 0.81% and reaches 249.66 euros per megawatt/hour. Just a week ago, an all-time high was recorded in the cost of energy, 544.98 euros/MWh.

In addition, the rise in prices has dragged the butane cylinder of 12.5 kilograms that stands at 18.63 euros, a rise of 54% in a year and a half.
