Petroperú lowered the price of vehicular LPG by S / 0.094 per kilo since Thursday 28

The Peruvian Organization of Consumers and Users (Opecu) reported that, starting this Thursday, October 28, Petroperú lowered the price of LPG-G (bulk, vehicular) by S / 0.094 per kilo, equivalent to S / 0.049 per liter.

Similarly, both the Peruvian state company and Repsol reduced the price of industrial oil by up to S / 0.14 per gallon, including taxes. However, neither of the two oil companies changed their prices for other fuels, such as diesel.

Thus, in the case of Petroperú, the Industrial Oil 6 it decreased from S / 12.9092 to S / 12.7794, contracting S / 0.13 or 1.0% per gallon, including taxes. In turn, the Industrial Oil 500 obtained a discount from S / 12.7440 to S / 12.6024, decreasing S / 0.14 or 1.1% per gallon, including taxes.

For Repsol, Industrial Oil 6 recorded a reduction from S / 12,933 to S / 12,803, a contraction of S / 0.13 or 1.0% per gallon, including taxes; while the Industrial Oil 500 it decreased from S / 12,767 to S / 12,626, decreasing S / 0.14 or 1.1% per gallon, including taxes.

“Petroperú lowered the price of bulk LPG from S / 4,484 to S / 4,389 per kilo, including tax, thus contracting S / 0.094 or 2.1%, equivalent to a decrease of S / 0.049 per liter, also both oil companies reduced the price of the residuals up to S / 0.14 or 1.1% per gallon, and the other fuels did not vary in prices. Discounts should already be reflected at the national level, “said Héctor Plate Cánepa, president of Opecu.

It should be noted that, on Friday 22, Petroperú had already reduced the list price of diesel by S / 0.23 per gallon, in order to have the cheapest list price in the market and avoid “greater impacts on the economy of sectors sensitive to the price of this fuel ”.
