The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) approved the strategy to reactivate and promote the artisanal activity “We are Crafts – 2021-II”, which grants competitive subsidies in favor of the productive units of the sector.
Through ministerial resolution published in the official newspaper El Peruano, the Directorate of Technological Innovation Centers for Crafts and Tourism (DCITAT) of the General Directorate of Crafts (DGA) of the Vice Ministry of Tourism of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism is responsible for the dissemination , implementation and supervision of compliance with the referred Strategy.
It is necessary to point out that through Urgency Decree No. 095-2021, Mincetur was authorized to grant competitive subsidies in favor of artisan economic units that carry out production activities and commercial articulation of artisan products, up to the sum of 11 million euros. soles, within the framework of the implementation of this strategy.
“Somos Artesanía – 2021-II” establishes the conditions for the granting of competitive subsidies in favor of artisan economic units, as well as the corresponding operational, management, follow-up and monitoring provisions.
