In this regard, union leaders of the tourism sector assured that the second point, that is, the increase in capacity, had a greater impact on the decision of tourists than the reduction of VAT to 8%.

According to official figures, more than 752,000 trips were made in the country that generated accommodation, “which contributed to the accelerated recovery of tourism.”
