Repsol and Petroperú raised wholesale fuel prices by up to S/ 0.41 per gallon

The Peruvian Agency for Consumers and Users (Opecu) warned that the oil companies Repsol and Petroperú raised, today February 25, fuel prices up to S / 0.41 per gallon, including taxes. Thus gasohols and gasoline rose by up to S/ 0.11 per gallon, B5S50 UV diesel for vehicular use by S/ 0.41 per gallon, while bottled LPG increased by S/ 0.083 per kilo, thus impacting the sale price to the public of the 10-kilo gas balloon at S/ 0.80.

“Repsol and Petroperú today raised the prices of bottled LPG by S/ 0.083 per kilo, including tax, will thus impact the retail price of the 10-kilo gas balloon at S/ 0.80. Likewise, diesel for vehicle use rose S/ 0.41 per gallon, while gasohols and gasoline rose between S/ 0.03 and S/ 0.11 per gallon, including taxes. Rises continue to hit the country’s consumer economy hard,” said the president of Opecu, Héctor Plate Cánepa.

The manager also stated that, in relation to the price of Peruvian LPG, coming from the Camisea fields, Time continues to pass without the Government complying with defining in dialogue with Pluspetrol the true price of its origin in progress.
