Dollar in Peru: exchange rate opens higher and is quoted at S / 3.7525

The dollar began the day on Monday, February 21 with a price of S / 3.7525, according to the Bloomberg portal at 9:00 am; which represents a slight rise of 0.07% compared to the day before, when it stood at S/ 3,750.

Meanwhile, the purchase of the dollar in the parallel market is at S/ 3.74. As for the sale, it amounts to S / 3.78. For its part, the price of the green ticket in the main banks of the country is quoted at S/ 3.67100, the purchase and sale at S/ 3.85100.

While, in the political context, everything indicates that the request for confidence by the new president of the Council of Ministers, Aníbal Torres, will take place on March 8, although there was a request from President Castillo to advance the date.

Internationally, the Kremlin said there were no concrete plans for a summit on Ukraine between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Joe Biden after the French president said the two leaders had agreed in principle on a meeting. A summit could offer a path out of Europe’s biggest military crisis in decades, and European financial markets rose on the glimmer of hope for a diplomatic solution, Renta4 reports.
