PAI: will allocate up to S / 300,000 to boost company exports

The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) will grant funds of up to S / 300,000 to support micro and small businesses (MSMEs) in order to consolidate in the export sector and ensure that high-value Peruvian products reach the five continents through the Internalization Support Program (PAI).

This second edition of the MYP is carried out with the support of ProInnóvate, contemplates an investment of S / 20 million destined to benefit more than 170 MSMEs and companies with non-reimbursable funds to strengthen, promote and incentivize internationalization processes, improving project management capacities and skills. Companies interested in this Internationalization Support Program can apply through their web platform.

CAN SEE

The PAI is made up of four modalities of co-financing to meet the different situations of internationalization of companies. Each of the co-financed projects will be able to prepare and execute an internationalization plan. Likewise, each company must determine the product (good or service) and the market in which it seeks to position itself.

  • Exporter Entrepreneurship Modality: aimed at MSMEs that do not have export experience, but have a product with high export potential. These companies will be granted a fund of up to S / 70,000 in order to successfully enter a market and sustain shipments to meet international demand with the support of the authorities promoting the PAI.
  • Export Enhancement Modality: aimed at companies that are not regular exporters, but have some experience exporting and that seek to better serve international demand. These will receive up to S / 90,000 of financing so that they increase their exports and become regular exporters.
  • Mode of Consolidation of Export Activity: in this modality they will grant up to S / 150,000 to companies that regularly export their products and have experience in international markets.
  • Commercial Implementation Modality: aimed at companies with regular exports, knowledge of international markets and intentions to carry out their commercial implementation abroad. These companies will receive up to S / 300,000 in co-financing.
