The head of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE), Betsy Chavez and his counterpart from the Ministry of Production (Produce), George Pradomet this Thursday to create the immediate call for a Multisectoral Group that seeks to regulate the limitation of cement containers up to a maximum of 25 kilos for the integrity of civil construction employees.
It is worth noting that this initiative is part of the provisions of Ministerial Resolution 375-2008-TR, which approves the basic standard of ergonomics and disergonomic risk assessment procedure.
Prado undertook to issue a resolution convening the working group in question, while Chavez clarified that the MTPE works together with a multisectoral group to conclude five protocols for civil constructionwhich aim to guarantee the well-being and safety and health of its workers in a sector exposed to damage to their physical integrity.
Likewise, from the Directorate of Safety and Health at Work of the MTPE, they highlighted that they have been supporting technical groups with training that benefits the working class, as well as officials to guarantee and monitor respect for their rights.
