The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) informed that the execution of the project for the creation of the drinking water and sanitation system in the peasant community of Umasi, district of Hualla, province of Víctor Fajardo, has begun. Ayacuchowhich has an investment of almost S/ 4 million.
The work will include the installation of 114 basic sanitation units (UBS), which include toilets, showers, sinks and multipurpose sinks with a drinking water system. Likewise, more than 1.4 kilometers of conduction lines and a water collection system will be implemented.
Nearly 300 inhabitants of the peasant community of Umasi will improve their quality of life with the start-up of this project, whose completion is scheduled for July of this year. Its execution is in charge of the District Municipality of Hualla.
Meanwhile, the beneficiaries and members of the JASS will receive workshops on health education, assessment and care of sanitation services, as well as information on the rights and fulfillment of the duties of users and the timely payment of the family fee.
