Dollar in Peru: exchange rate opens lower and is listed at S / 3.7434

The dollar began the day on Thursday, February 17 with a price of S / 3.7434, according to the Bloomberg portal at 9:00; which represents a fall of 0.18% compared to the closing of the day before, when it stood at S / 3.75.

Meanwhile, the purchase of the dollar in the parallel market is at S/ 3.75. As for the sale, it amounts to S / 3.79. For its part, the price of the green ticket in the main banks of the country is quoted at S/ 3,668, the purchase and sale at S/ 3,823.

As recalled yesterday, the president of the Congress of the Republic, María del Carmen Alba, gave a conference where she called on the executive to dialogue and work together, in addition to trying to dispel rumors of a vacancy plan in progress. She also announced that she would receive the current president of the Council of Ministers, Aníbal Torres, on March 8 to present himself and request a vote of confidence.

Internationally, a senior Biden administration official pointed out that no Russian troops have been withdrawn from the Ukraine border at a press conference, thus questioning Moscow’s claim that it was withdrawing some forces. “Now we know it was false,” the official said, adding that up to 7,000 soldiers have joined the 150,000 already near the border in recent days, Renta 4 reported.
