The interannual CPI falls to 6% in the CAV and 6.3% in Navarra, in January

Prices have been reduced in the last month, above all, due to cheaper electricity, food and tourist packages.

The year-on-year inflation In January it fell to 6% in the Basque Autonomous Community (CAV) and to 6.3% in January, according to the Consumer Price Index published this Tuesday by the National Institute of Statistics (INE).

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) fell by 0.4% in the CAV in January in relation to the previous month. In Navarra, for its part, prices fell by 0.5% last January compared to December.

Prices have been reduced in the last monthabove all, to cheaper electricity, food and tourist packages due to cheaper electricity, food and tourist packages.

In the set of Condition the Consumer Price Index (CPI) stood at 6.1%, four tenths below the 6.5% it reached in December, the highest in the last 30 years.
