Cusco. The Comptroller General of the Republic found criminal and administrative liability in three workers of the Provincial Municipality of La Convencion (Cusco), for awarding two road maintenance works to companies that offered higher costs. The damage is S / 172 thousand soles.
According to Control Report No. 011-2021-2-0388-SCE, in 2020 said municipality carried out processes for contracting the periodic and routine maintenance service for local roads: Iyape-Yuracmayo and Esmeralda – Tunquimayo section.
In the first process, the Ccorimanya Bustinza Torres Consortium for S/ 913,069.60 when other companies offered S/ 773 thousand 787, that is, S/ 139 thousand 281 less. The selection committee observed some documents such as key personnel with experience in the specialty, when according to the Comptroller’s Office, said requirement is already to perfect the contract.
This situation was repeated in the second process when the award to the Sambaray Consortium at S/ 2 million 33 thousand 232 when another offer was 2 million. According to the Comptroller, the members of the committee, Carlos Santos, Yulios Campana and Javier Huisa are responsible.
