Dollar in Peru: Exchange rate closes at S/ 3,805, its lowest level in almost nine months

The price of the dollar closed lower and stood at S/ 3,805 in the operations of Wednesday, February 9, reaching its lowest level in almost nine months. The last time the US currency reached a lower price was on May 21, 2021, when it stood at S / 3,755, according to the report of the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP).

Thus, the greenback presented a drop of 0.82% compared to the close of Tuesday, February 8, when it had a value of S / 3.8365.

The purchase in the parallel market was located at S/ 3,800 and the sale at S/ 3,840. As for the price of the dollar at the windows of the main banksstands at S/ 3,820 for purchase and S/ 3,870 for sale at Banco de Credito del Peru (BCP).

This happens after the President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo, presented his fourth ministerial cabinet led by Aníbal Torres. He also ratified Óscar Graham as Minister of Economy and Finance.
