As part of the process of homologation of goods and services to make public contracting more efficient, the Central de Compras Públicas – Peru has pre-published three projects of Homologation sheet for fortified rice, with the aim of collecting suggestions, recommendations or comments from public entities, suppliers and the interested public.
These are extra grade fortified rice, superior grade fortified rice and regular grade fortified rice. These proposals were prepared by the Ministry of Health (Minsa), with the technical support of Peru shopping.
The projects of Homologation Files will be pre-published until February 23 of this year in the web portals of Peru shopping and the Electronic State Procurement System (Seace). Comments, recommendations or observations will be received through the email wvilchez@ins.gob.pe.
As part of the public consultation process, on Thursday, February 17, 2022, the technical public discussion table will be held to debate the contents of the three proposals, with the participation of representatives of the Minsa.
It will be in virtual format and at two times: at 9:30 am, addressed to State entities, and at 2:30 pm, for suppliers and the interested public. Participation is free with prior registration.
During the pre-publication period, the proposals are available to all interested parties, such as entities, suppliers, technical bodies, academia and others, for the submission of comments, recommendations and/or observations.
When these Homologation File projects are approved by the Minsa, the state institutions that need to buy fortified rice will have the technical specifications and standardized characteristics, with which the acquisition of this product will be faster and more efficient.
