There were 219 users who were able to collect their grants for the first time without having to travel up to three hours to receive them. “But in addition to the delivery of the subsidy, Pensión 65 articulates and manages so that the most vulnerable older adults receive various services from the State,” said Executive Director Mabel Gálvez.
Attention vulnerable sectors
In past decades Accomarca was one of the most vulnerable districts in the Ayacucho region due to the violence that affected this area. For more than three years, the older adults of Pitecc and the towns of Pongococha, Huarcas, Ponturco, Anta and Accomarca asked for a point of payment like this. Now they can save time, money and avoid long lines to collect their grants.

“Pension 65 intensifies its efforts to reach the elderly in the most remote communities. The implementation of this new point of payment is an example of that concern. The State must always put itself at the service of citizens with the greatest needs, ”said Deputy Minister Contreras.
