Banco Falabella will invest more than S/ 50.1 million in the construction of three monitoring and surveillance centers in Arequipa. The projects located in the José Luis Bustamante and Rivero, Paucarpata and Cayma districts are part of the works for taxes of the Chilean capital company.
The project called ‘Improvement and expansion of the Serenazgo service of the Municipality of José Luis Bustamante y Rivero – Arequipa’ was recently completed and handed over to the district municipality, according to Falabella.
The construction of the infrastructure required an investment of S/ 8,662,444 and will reinforce the security of more than 80,000 people in the town. The project included the installation of 60 video surveillance cameras, which cover the 10.83 km2 of the district and are interconnected by fiber optics with the center.
Meanwhile, the estimated investment for the construction of surveillance and monitoring centers in the districts of Paucarpata and Cayma is S/ 31.8 million and S/ 9.7 million, respectively.
