MTPE appoints Dante León Castro as Vice Minister of Employment Promotion

The Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE) appointed Camilo Dante León Castro as the new Deputy Minister of Employment Promotion and Job Training of the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion through a supreme resolution published today in El Peruano.

Camilo Dante León Castro will assume the position of Vice Minister ratified by President Pedro Castillo and Betssy Chavez Chino, current Minister of Labor and Employment Promotion.

Camilo Dante León Castro has a degree in Sociology from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). He has a Ph.D. in Anthropology from the EHESS University of France, as well as a Master’s degree in Rural Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania in the United States. He is a hired professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru.

CAN SEE

He has 10 years of experience in issues related to social responsibility, sustainable development and community relations. He was manager of community relations for the Cerro Verde Mining Society. On the other hand, he has experience in positions of responsibility in the State, NGOs and private companies. He has also worked as a country representative in the direction of development projects for the Clinton Foundation.
