Exchange rate in Peru: how much is it trading today, Monday, January 31, 2022

Check the price of the dollar in Peru today, Monday, January 31, for buying and selling in the parallel market and in the main banks. The North American currency begins with a price of S / 3.8510, as reported by the portal Bloomberg. On its last day on Friday, January 28, the greenback closed with a value of S/ 3.8520, according to the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP).

In this way, the currency increased by 0.29% compared to the close of last Thursday, January 27, when it stood at S/ 3.8410. The purchase in the parallel market was located at S/ 3.84 and the sale at S/ 3.87. As for the price of the dollar in the windows of the main banks, it stands at S/ 3.75 for purchase and S/ 3.95 for sale at the Banco de Credito del Peru (BCP).

Regarding the progress of the economy, 55% of companies increased their investment for digital transformation compared to the previous year, according to data from an EY Peru Consulting study. They also reported that on average the digital transformation market moves US$400 million a year in our country, where 84% of companies require services of this type.

On the other hand, as occurs at the beginning of every year, the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) updated the current fixed amounts applicable to goods subject to the Specific System of the Selective Consumption Tax (ISC). In this way, a slight adjustment was made to the value of the fixed amount on three goods: cigarettes, alcoholic beverages with 20 degrees or more of alcohol (such as rum and vodka) and pisco, with a moderate adjustment of S/ 0.01, S/ 0.08 and S/ 0.05, respectively.
