During the assembly it was insisted on the fulfillment of these points that they were part of a fifteen-item agreement signed between President Guillermo Lasso and cattle producers during the electoral campaign.
Other topics addressed were the ruling of the Constitutional Court that allows the use of whey for human consumption, the new taxes on wealth, insecurity in rural areas and non-compliance with the National Agreement for the Development of the Livestock Sector.
