Minister Betssy Chávez proposes to the PCM that Servir be assigned to the MTPE

The Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion (MTPE), led by Betssy Chávez, sent last week to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM) a draft supreme decree approving the assignment of the National Civil Service Authority (To serve) to your office.

The project, to which La República had access, states that To serve is no longer assigned to the PCM, as it is currently, but is part of the MTPE. The proposal will be seen in the Minister council for your discussion.

This initiative is based on the fact that Servir is closely linked to the programmatic areas that, in terms of work and employment promotion, the MTPE has, for which it would seek to improve the efficiency of public management with the change in the affiliation of this institution. .

“The change of assignment of the National Civil Service Authority – Serving the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion, integrates the services provided by both entities, by aligning and better complying with public policies, plans and sectoral and institutional objectives to provide a more efficient service”, states the explanatory statement of the MTPE.

In this regard, the Front of State Workers of Peru (FTEP) highlighted that the MTPE has presented the supreme decree to the PCM, since this has been an express request of said union organization. In addition, demanded that the Executive give the go-ahead to said projectOtherwise, they would carry out a mobilization before the PCM.
