This Thursday the Plenary of Congress made new changes to the Fonavi money refund law (Law 31173), since the autograph approved last Wednesday repealed literals b (which returns what is contributed by the worker and his employer) and c (the definition of the amount to be reimbursed and its updating) of article 2 of Law 31173, which left without effect the refund.
With 82 in favor, 13 against and 18 abstentions, the return is now guaranteed for contributions made by both the worker and the employer.
It should be noted that the text approved today is the same as the one that the Economy Committee put up for debate in plenary session on Wednesday; however, the congressman Jorge Morante Figari (Popular Force) proposed changes at the last minute that generated the end of excluding the return of contributions from both the worker and the employer; with which the application of the law was left without effect.
